Quantex Receives Approval As Provider of GLP Analytical Services for J&J

July 24, 2006, Quantex Laboratories was officially  notified  that it  has received an acceptable rating  for providing GLP analytical services for  Ethicon, a J&J subsidiary. This  notification is a  result of a May 2006 audit of Quantex's laboratories conducted by J&J quality assurance unit personnel.   

The audit involved a review of the company's standard operation procedures, equipment and instrumentation, staff, training programs and procedures, sample handling and quality systems. This audit demonstrated that Quantex's quality systems and procedures not only meet cGMP requirements, but the more stringent GLP requirements as well.  Quantex had been previously approved for, and has been providing cGMP analytical services to J&J subsidiaries for several years.  "This new approval allows Quantex to provide added out sourcing services to Ethicon and other J&J subsidiaries" said  James Menoutis, Ph.D., Director of Analytical Services.
